5 essential oils to get you through the holidays.

If you are anything like me - you are probably just holding out for Christmas holidays - a time where you imagine there's no need to set the alarm and you can just laze the days away.
The reality though is this period for a lot of us can get just as busy as we go from one social event to the next or finally tackle that DIY project or spring clean at home that you've been putting off all year.
I thought I'd use this week's blog to share with you some of my favourite essential oils to get me through my busy life.
Lavender Oil: The Timeless Relaxation Elixir
Lavender oil is well known for its calming properties so it is a no brainer to be using when you need some help winding down and relaxing. I often put a few drops under my pillow if I'm having trouble sleeping and bathing in our lavender bath salts feels like my own private day spa.
Lemon Myrtle Oil: For a bit of zing
With its invigorating and citrusy aroma, lemon myrtle oil will always give me the zing when I need it. This is partly because it takes me back to the bush walks I used to enjoy as a child in the Australian bush but also because the essential oil itself has uplifting properties.
Rosalina Oil: Australia's answer to Lavender oil
Known for its gentle and calming properties, Rosalina has been referred to as Australia's lavender oil.
Peppermint Oil: The ultimate cool down
Renowned for its invigorating and cooling properties, peppermint oil is my go to when I want to cool down in the summer heat. Peppermint oil also helps give clarity of mind, which don't we all need this time of year!
Patchouli Oil: For Mind and Body
Known for its earthy and grounding aroma, patchouli oil has been used for centuries to promote relaxation and balance. Extracted from the leaves of the patchouli plant, this essential oil has a unique scent that lingers on the skin, creating a calming effect.
Soapy hugs,
