Who gives a damn about natural skincare?
If you're feeling a little sceptical or just plain tired of the overuse of the word "natural" in marketing, we completely understand. But here's the deal: we're not here to sell you socks (although we appreciate a good pair). We're here to be 100% honest with you about our 100% natural soap.
In fact, we're proud to say that our soap is as close to plant-to-face as it gets. We go the extra mile to ensure that every pure plant-based or naturally derived mineral ingredient we use has a transparent origin. We know exactly where it comes from, and we're passionate about bringing you the best nature has to offer.
We don't believe in cutting corners, making false promises, or hiding anything about how we make and package our products. We're committed to being open and honest every step of the way. From our ingredient selection to our manufacturing processes, we strive for integrity and transparency.
So, if you're tired of the smoke and mirrors, give us a try. We're the real deal when it comes to natural soap, and we're excited to share our passion for authenticity with you.
What’s natural, what’s not
Not all ‘natural’ soaps and skin care products are created equal.
Flashy skincare focuses on fancy formulas. Natural skincare is about simplicity and transparency. Oodles of skin care makers claim their ranges are ‘natural’, ‘organic’, ‘clean’ and ‘chemical free.’
Checking the ingredients should help you decide who’s legit and who’s not. If a product is packed with unpronounceable ingredients and numbered additives, nature probably didn’t contribute much to its making.
We use up to three natural components:Plant oils: Olive oil, macadamia oil, and avo-oil nourish and moisturize your skin with vitamins and antioxidants.
Essential oils: Lemon oil, peppermint oil, and geranium rose oil offer anti-inflammatory and aromatherapeutic benefits.
Vitamins, minerals, and herbal extracts: Clay, zinc, lavender, vitamin C, and E provide antioxidants, exfoliate, nourish, soothe, calm, and moisturize your skin.
8 ways natural soap is good for you and the planet:
-
Get gentle and nourishing
Some natural soaps are best for ‘feeding’ your face, others will nourish your entire bod. Some have added exfoliating properties, some are formulated for specific skin types or concerns. Our soaps have zero synthetic chemicals, like sulphates and parabens. No fake fragrances either. These ingredients are harsh and irritating to your skin. Yuk.
-
Magically moisturising
Soaps get a bad rap for being drying, dull and dated. Truth is, most commercial bars do dry your skin because they’re detergents – not real soap - stripping natural skin oils. Our soaps are far-from dreary and dehydrating. The pure plant oils give them superior moisturising powers. Softening and soothing. No need for extra moisturising lotion.
- Silky, do-good lather The lather most of us know and love from commercial soaps are created by fake foam boosters. Fake foam dries your skin and doesn’t make for great cleansing. Natural soap doesn’t need a lot of lather to work wonders on your skin. It still gives you a rich silky lather while cleaning grease and grime…naturally.
-
Sniffs to lift the mood
Pure essential oils give our soaps a whole lotta scented love. Besides making you smell divine these oils pack a powerful aromatherapeutic punch. Many commercial soaps are scented with fake (synthetic) filler fragrances or cheap-n-nasty essential oils.
-
Planet friendly vibes
Top-notch natural soap is often made with sustainable and biodegradable ingredients. It doesn't use plastic and doesn’t produce waste.
-
Goes on-and-on-and-on
Natural soap is often denser than commercial soap which means it lasts longer and can be more cost-effective in the long run. Just make sure you store it properly otherwise it could wither away in wet areas.
-
All-round-goodness
Natural soap has many uses. Besides taking tender loving care of your skin, it’s great for laundry and lots of general household cleaning jobs.
-
Value for money
Soap is soap, right? Why spend $8 when you can spend $3? Easy… commercial soaps are cheaper because they’re made from very low-cost synthetic ingredients. Worse still, oils and glycerine are removed for a longer shelf life, but you’ll need natural moisturising oils to re-hydrate your skin (add $5 to that $3 soap).
You get what you pay for:
Let's talk about the price of our natural soaps. We understand they may come with a slightly higher price tag compared to commercial soaps. But here's the thing: they're worth every penny.
Why? Because our natural soaps are crafted with an abundance of love and care, using only top-quality ingredients. We believe in purity and strive to create products that are free from impurities and all those nasties you'll find in mass-produced alternatives.
When you choose our natural soaps, you're not just investing in a cleansing bar. You're embracing an eco-friendly option that aligns with your values. It's a choice that supports sustainability and minimizes harm to our planet. And let's not forget about your skin! By opting for natural soap, you're giving your skin the ultimate pampering session.
