Is your fur friend looking a little *ruff? Maybe your pooch needs pampering with the best dog shampoo in Australia? Our Solid Dog Shampoo is the paw-fect solution. Made with all-natural, dog-loving ingredients to give a gentle, nourishing clean. Leaves their coat soft, shiny and smelling refreshingly good.

Ingredients: Saponified rice bran oil, saponified coconut oil, saponified castor oil, eucalyptus oil, lavender oil & peppermint oil.

Solid Dog Shampoo

Does your dog love digging down and getting dirty? Perhaps they love to splash around or roll in the mud? Maybe they can’t shake off that doggy-smell?

Your dog will benefit from a sweet-scented, natural dog shampoo. A gentle cleansing, moisturising, softening dog soap won’t strip away their natural coat oils.

Our solid dog shampoo is sure to hit the mark. It’s made of pure natural ingredients.

Being a soap-bar means you only need a small amount to work up a luscious lather. It washes away a multitude of unwanted aromas and nasties stuck in their skin. And, it’s safe, non-toxic and can relieve itching and irritations.

Dogs, and other pets, are often sensitive to chemicals in dog washing products. Many commercial dog soaps and shampoos contain harsh toxic substances, preservatives and artificial fragrances. These can cause more harm than good on your dog’s skin.

The solid dog shampoo uses rice bran oil as a healthier alternative. Eucalyptus and peppermint oils are used as antiseptic and anti-inflammatory with coconut and castor oils making it deeply moisturising.

A dash of lavender oil adds a wonderful calming scent.

You’ll want to snuggle up close to your furry friend. They’ll be squeaky clean, feel silky soft and smell fresh as a daisy.

FAQ

Is dog soap easy to use?

Using our Solid Dog Shampoo is super easy. Rub a small amount of the dog soap into your hands with water to work up a lather and apply all over your dog’s wet coat. Rinse. Repeat.

As a shampoo bar with plenty of moisturising oils, you’ll only need a smattering to go a long way.

Because it’s solid dog shampoo, it’s not watered down. It’s concentrated – better for the environment – better for your wallet – better for your dog.

Do I need a conditioner?

Nope. No conditioner needed. The rich plant oils in our dog soap are enough to condition your dog’s coat leaving their fur soft, healthy and clean.

Who’s ready for cuddles?

Is it scented?

It certainly is! We love creating tantalising new scents. We reckon dogs deserve them too.

The bright, fresh scent of this dog shampoo bar is created with a blend of lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils. We’re confident you and your pooch will love it.

Let us know what you think.

Did we tell you… we never ever use artificial fragrances in our products. We’re natural all the way.

Will it be gentle on my dog’s skin?

Absolutely! We leave out any artificial ingredients or harmful chemicals to make sure it’s gentle. No detergents, no sulphates and no parabens – just pure, natural Australian oils.

Why use natural ingredients?

There are so many reasons to use natural ingredients in dog soap and shampoo. Here’s just a few:

  • Natural ingredients are safer for dogs – in fact any pet – and humans too.
  • Natural ingredients can be far more effective in the long term. They’ll protect your dog’s coat, keep it healthier and won’t strip the oils essential for growth.
  • Artificial soaps can damage your dog’s skin and hair (as it can for you).
  • Artificial soaps are made of chemicals that harm the environment.

At the Australian Natural Soap Company we’re dog lovers too. We genuinely care for your dog’s health and protecting our planet.

We reckon we’ve created the best dog shampoo in Australia!

How should I store my dog soap to get the best out of it?

We recommend keeping your dog soap out of water as much as possible.

Our soaps are rich in plant oils which react to water. Oils give the soap superb cleaning properties. If the soap is left in water or a steamy shower area, it’ll be used up more quickly.

To get the best out of our soap, store on a well-drained soap holder. Our reclaimed wood soap holder is ideal.

Do you have more than one buying option?

Our all-natural, Australian-made Solid Dog Shampoo is not a product we offer in bulk. This bar lasts a long time. Buying more than one each time probably isn’t necessary. Unless you want extras for gifts or you have more than one pooch to pamper.

One hand-measured 100gm bar can last up to six months, making it a perfect money-saving option.

Of course, you’re welcome to buy as many as you need.

Hot Tip:

Dogs have a natural pH balance between 6.2 and 7.4, while human skin has a pH balance of approximately 5.5.

You’d be barking up the wrong tree if you think you could use commercial human soap on your dog. It might seem paw-sible but it can disrupt their natural skin balance.

Disrupting their skin balance means they can become more susceptible to viruses, parasites, and bacteria causing irritations. It’ll drive them barking mad.

Instead try using our solid, natural dog shampoo bar. It’ll help protect your dog’s skin and keep you from taking unnecessary trips to the vet.

Talking of human soap… if your feet are tired from all that dog-walking, why not treat yourself after pampering your pooch?  Our Squeaky Clean Foot Pack is paw-fect for weary feet.

Absolutly love this soap, it suds up well and leaves my boy smelling nice and clean afterwards, no more doggy smell! Due to our boy’s itchy skin and epilepsy we have to be very careful what products we use on/with him, so most flea treatments are out, but we find washing every 3 weeks with this really does repel fleas and keeps his skin soothed for him. An added bonus for me is that this soap unlike most dog shampoos doesn’t flare up my son’s or my eczema on our hands when we wash the dog.

I’ve got two old dogs and have to wash them weekly to try and stop them stinking, I’ve tried everything but this is the best! Zero doggy smell after wash! Lathers really well and cleans them wonderfully!

Absolutely floored by this product. I wash my girlfriends greyhound with this, greyhounds are notorious for having dandruff and it settles that down for him so quickly. Washed him about a month ago now, and he still smells amazing! Will purchase again.
