Lemongrass keeps skin clean and balanced. It's brilliant as we move indoors and heating kicks in. Ginger warms and supports circulation, helping maintain that healthy glow through the grey months. The dried lemon myrtle leaf adds a gentle exfoliation, sloughing away the dull surface layer that builds up season to season.

The scent has a bright citrus up front, then warm and earthy ginger underneath. It's a cup of tea in bar form — uplifting without being overwhelming. The exact thing your senses need when it's still dark outside.

Liquorice Allsorts Soap  — Welcome back!

A fan favourite. Back for another season.

This one has history. Liquorice Allsorts was a staple at our South Melbourne Market stall and Centreway Arcade store — and every autumn, without fail, it was the first to go. The customers who found it there know exactly what we're talking about. For everyone else: welcome to the club.

Activated charcoal does the heavy lifting here — drawing out impurities and excess oil that build up more quickly when we're spending longer stretches indoors. The aniseed oil brings gentle antimicrobial properties. Great for combination or congested skin that needs a proper reset.

The scent is nostalgic and playful. That distinctive sweet, slightly smoky liquorice character that somehow feels deeply comforting.

Cedarwood & Vetiver Soap

Autumn in a bar. Grounding, woody, deeply nourishing.

Cedarwood is rich in compounds known to soothe and calm irritated skin — particularly helpful as cold air and indoor heating start doing their damage. Vetiver, distilled from plant roots, is deeply conditioning and supports skin tone and texture over time. A bar that genuinely repairs as it cleanses.

The scent is warm, woody, and dry — like walking through a forest on a cool autumn afternoon. The vetiver adds a smoky, earthy depth underneath. One of the most grounding scents in the entire ANSC range, and completely right for this time of year.

Spiced Chai Soap  — Welcome back!

Clove, cinnamon, nutmeg. Need we say more?

Spiced Chai has been here before. It was a market favourite at South Melbourne and Centreway Arcade — the one people came back for specifically when the air turned cold. We stopped making it for a while. Enough of you asked that we brought it back for now.

Clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg are each naturally antimicrobial — a spice trio that cleanses thoroughly without stripping. Clove soothes irritation, cinnamon gently warms the skin and supports circulation (especially welcome when it's cold), and nutmeg adds conditioning properties that leave skin genuinely soft.

The scent is rich, spiced, and unmistakably cosy. If autumn had a signature scent, this would be it — like something baking on a Sunday afternoon with nowhere else to be.

Mandarin oil is brightening and antioxidant-rich — helping protect skin from the environmental stressors that come with seasonal change. Rose petals have been used in skincare for centuries: naturally hydrating, anti-inflammatory, and packed with vitamins that support the skin's barrier. The combination keeps skin glowing even when the sun disappears.

Spearmint clarifies and balances — naturally antiseptic without drying. Cinnamon warms and supports circulation. Together they're particularly good for combination skin that's adjusting to the cooler months: oily some days, dry others, never quite consistent. A bar that meets your skin where it is. The scent is surprising in the best way. The spearmint is cool and clean; the cinnamon follows warm and spiced. They sound like they shouldn't work together — they absolutely do.
